Measurement
Opens and clicks don't pay rent. Every Engage campaign is measured against a control group — so you see the revenue that happened because of the campaign, not just around it.

The problem
Most campaign tools celebrate attention. But guests who would have returned anyway open messages too. Without a control group, "results" are just correlation with a nice chart.

Methodology
Before launch, Engage randomly sets aside a holdout group — 1–50% of the audience, 5–10% is the practical sweet spot. They receive no messages. After the window closes, we compare buying behavior of the two groups. The difference is your lift.
Random split at launch — no bias, no self-selection
Same window for both groups — 7 days default, up to 90
Net after costs — gift redemptions and message spend subtracted
The report
Measurement window
7 days by default, up to 90. Fixed at launch — no moving goalposts after the fact.
Audience tracking
Orders, buyers and net revenue of the exact guests messaged — not blended store totals.
Gift costs
Every redeemed gift counted at real redemption value.
Message costs
Per-channel spend via Infobip, down to the message.
Holdout comparison
Control group behavior over the same window — the baseline for lift.
Incremental net
The only number that matters: extra profit after all campaign costs.
